Statewide Time & Attendance Support Officer

Youth Justice

 

  • Temporary Full-Time
  • Location: Parramatta
  • Clerk Grade 5/6 Salary ($99,938 - $ 110,271 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

 

This is a targeted recruitment. Your role

Provide high-quality support services to the Coordinator Statewide Time & Attendance and Time & Attendance teams across Youth Justice.

 

 

What you’ll do

  • Working as part of a team to provide support services to the Time & Attendance (T&A) teams in Youth Justice Centres across NSW, including WFM and mWZ system administration, managing deadlines and stakeholder priorities, project management, preparation of reports and correspondence, and management of other corporate requirements to support the effective oversight of staffing and rostering across Youth Justice
  • Respond to Time & Attendance enquiries, escalating or redirecting issues as required to ensure timely and effective resolution for officers across NSW
  • Recommend, implement, and maintain effective Time & Attendance systems and procedures to ensure compliance with HR, IR, and Award requirements, with a view to improve efficiency and effectiveness of related processes and practices within the Centres
  • Co-ordinate and undertake support services, including arranging travel, meetings, catering and other hospitality arrangements.
  • Provide word-processing and data entry services and draft correspondence, such as, letters, memoranda, agenda, briefing notes and related documentation for the Statewide Coordinator in line with departmental approved style guidelines.
  • Supervise the day-to-day work of staff which includes identifying training and development opportunities.

 

 

What we’re looking for

  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012

In addition to the above essential requirements, we are looking for someone with:

  • Experience using the Workforce Management and MWZ systems
  • Knowledge and ability to understand and implement relevant Awards and legislation
  • Extensive experience providing executive and high-level administrative support and client service.
  • Understanding and knowledge of the significant trauma and disadvantage young people experience. Display key understanding of the unique sensitive, cultural differences and social complexities of young people, their families and communities.
