Clerk General Scale, Salary $35,600- $69,686 pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Great Team Environment located at Metropolitan Remand & Reception Centre, Silverwater Correctional Complex

Rostered any 5 in 7 days per week
The role
In this role you would be required to assist in undertaking a variety of recognised correctional administrative tasks to ensure the team is supported in accordance with the directions provided by your Manager. Duties may include:

Arrange all daily courier services, mail pick up/delivery and distribution

Answer all switchboard incoming phone calls
-
Greet internal and external stakeholders
-
Provide support for inmate accounts
-
General data entry
-
Records management
-
Customer service
-
Process visitor bookings
-
All miscellaneous tasks as required in accordance with the capabilities of the role
-
In this role there will be face to face contact with Offenders in a controlled environment
You should have a positive “can do” attitude with the ability to work within a team environment. Resilience, initiative, high attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fast-paced role.
