Your role

 

The Corrections Intelligence Group (CIG) provides high level intelligence support to Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) stakeholders and various law enforcement agencies. Intelligence products disseminated by the CIG assist with decision making processes around the management of offenders in custody and under community corrections supervision.  The Intelligence Support Officer undertakes a range of intelligence based administrative / clerical services to support stakeholders involved in the management of offenders in custody and under community corrections supervision.

 

In this role you would be required to assist in undertaking a variety of recognised administrative tasks to ensure the team is supported in accordance with the directions provided by your manager. Your day-to-day tasks will support your team and the performance and productivity of the centre.

 

General administration tasks may include:

 

  • Completing purchasing activities
  • Monitoring shared inboxes
  • General data entry and records management
  • All miscellaneous tasks as required in accordance with the capabilities of the role

  • A highly motivated individual that can manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Resilient and able to work in a role with competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in a high pressure environment
  • Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and your technology skills will help you stand out above the rest
  • A true team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
