Organisational Change Analyst/Project Officer
Location: Any NSW and WFH (hybrid working), a mixture of working from the local office and home
Employment type: Ongoing full time (talent pool opportunities)
Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8, $106,025 to $117,363 pa plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
We have an exciting opportunity within our Workforce Transformation Team Office for the role of Project Officer/Change Analyst in organisational change, to produce, and support the production of change and communications content, staff engagement activities and events across a variety of formats that promote the priorities of the Infrastructure and Assets branch.

This is not an IT related role and requires organisational change experience.

What you’ll do
As part of the Change Management team, you will support activities that contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives. As part of the Workplace Transformation team you report to the Senior Program Manager and are responsible for (but not limited to):
- Design and deliver projects that enhance our change management and communication practices, processes, and systems.
- Support process enhancement for change and utilise technology to boost efficiency and user satisfaction across projects.
- Developing change and communications content and materials to provide quality, accurate and relevant information to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive business and technical requirements for enhancements.
- Lead change management efforts for new implementations, ensuring thorough training and support for team members/clients to facilitate a smooth transition.
- Partner with I&A subject matter experts to assess and implement solutions that meet business requirements and improve user experience.
- Creating SharePoint sites for projects, developing innovative content to share with clients and maintaining information for the project duration.
- Undertaking change analysis to determine outcomes of and inform future planning and activity.
- Ensure all change management activities comply with the Departments’ accessibility requirements.
What we’re looking for
You are motivated and proactive in your approach to change management and project delivery. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong capabilities in:
- Previous involvement in Change Management within a transformation environment is desirable.
- You have demonstrated experience in writing and delivering Change management strategies and implementation plans.
- You have demonstrated experience of writing and publishing communications across a range of channels.
- You have demonstrated experience of leveraging research and seeking input from stakeholders, experts, and SMEs to co-create solutions.
- You are comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the ability to juggle competing deadlines and priorities.
- You have exceptional project management skills, including the ability to deliver agreed outcomes on time and to quality standards.
- Extensive experience managing complex projects, particularly those focused on process improvement and technical solutions.
- Demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives is desirable.
- Highly proficient in written communication, capable of tailoring messages for diverse audiences.
- Strong technology skills including MS Office skills.
- Ability to travel domestically, if required.
