The Anzac Memorial Building, located in Hyde Park South was dedicated in 1934, originally commemorating the courage, endurance and sacrifice of Australians who served in World War One. It was rededicated in 1984 to honor all Australians who have served in wars and peacekeeping missions. In 2018 the Anzac Memorial Centenary extension was completed; the extension allows the Memorial to offer bespoke education programs and greater access to facilities for veteran and community organisations.
