Employment type – 12months Temporary, Full-time

Salary – $93,295.00 - $102,941.00 PA, plus Superannuation and Leave Loading

 

 

Your role

The Strategy, Reform and Support (SRS) Branch provides a diverse set of specialist services to the Courts, Tribunals and Service Delivery Division, including data and analytics, digital product management, recording and transcription services, portfolio management and digital customer experience.

 

The Executive Assistant provides a range of executive support and administrative services to facilitate the delivery of business operations and to support the SRS Executive Office. The role reports formally to the Business Manager, SRS and informally to the Executive Director, SRS.

 

What you’ll do

In this role you will:

  • Assess and prioritise requests to facilitate the optimal use of the Executive Director’s time.
  • Manage the Executive Director’s diary appointments, records and correspondence, coordinate travel arrangements, and schedule and support meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to the SRS Executive Office including mailbox management, workflow tracking and record keeping.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations, and briefing notes to support the achievement of business requirements.
  • Gather, collate, and provide background information for the executive to support informed decision making and planning.
  • Maintain and update administrative and record keeping practices, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.

 

What we’re looking for

You will have experience working for a senior executive in a large or complex organisation and are used to managing their diary, ensuring that conflicting priorities are managed well, managing their email flow, and highlighting issues for their attention and maintaining confidentiality. 

 

You are excellent communicator both written and verbally with strong attention to detail and can manage your time effectively across multiple projects and role deliverables.

 

You are highly resourceful and inquisitive, with the ability to navigate different channels to find information and resolve issues. A proven track record of effectively liaising with senior stakeholders will enable you to build and maintain relationships with staff at any level.
