  • Clerk Grade 7/8 Salary ($110,266 - $122,058 per annum) plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

 

Join a high-performing team that supports strong governance and decision-making at the executive level. This is a critical role providing coordination and high-level administrative support to ensure the effective operation of the Advisory Board and fulfilment of statutory obligations.

 

About the Role

As the Executive Board Support Officer, you will:

  • Provide executive-level administrative and coordination support to the Advisory Board Secretariat.
  • Liaise with Advisory Board members, executives and key stakeholders to coordinate activities and ensure timely flow of information.
  • Prepare reports, briefs, Board papers, minutes and submissions with accuracy and clarity.
  • Support the delivery of quarterly reports on the NSW Reconstruction Authority's functions within legislative timeframes.
  • Assist in managing compliance with statutory obligations and supporting the CEO and Minister with required documentation and advice.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be:

  • Experienced in delivering high-level secretariat support or working with senior executives to coordinate governance processes.
  • Skilled in preparing high-quality written materials such as reports, minutes, and formal correspondence.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Strong communicator, confident in liaising with stakeholders across various levels of government.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

 

Key knowledge and experience:

  • Experienced in providing high level secretariat services and/or experience liaising with senior executives to deliver outcomes.

 

Essential requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification and/or relevant knowledge and experience. 

 

Play a key role in strengthening our Board’s operations and contribute to the success of the organisation.

 

 

About the Agency

The NSW Reconstruction Authority (RA) is an executive agency of the Premier’s Department. The RA will improve how NSW plans for disasters and help communities to recover from them faster. 

To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the RA will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, NGOs, businesses, and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities, and other stakeholders. 

The RA Advisory Board (the Board) is a statutory board established under the NSW Reconstruction Authority Act 2022 responsible for providing advice and making recommendations to the CEO of the RA and the relevant Minister.
