Salary: $110,266 to $122,058 p.a. plus employer superannuation contribution and annual leave loading.
About the Role
Are you a highly organised professional with a passion for supporting executive leadership and driving operational excellence? This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Inspector of Custodial Services, contributing to the effective oversight of custodial facilities across NSW. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a high-profile, independent statutory office.
What you’ll do
As part of the Inspector of Custodial Services team, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the office, providing high-level executive and organisational support to the Inspector. You’ll coordinate correspondence, manage reporting frameworks, and support inspections.
You will also:
- Monitor budgets and financial expenditure
- Prepare agendas, minutes, and briefing materials
- Undertake research and contribute to project work
- Support the Inspector in meetings, hearings, and presentations
You’ll work in a small, collaborative team that values professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement, in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in executive support, project coordination, or office management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in research and reporting, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
