Legal Officer - NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal

Salary ranging from $77,012 to $130,542pa.
Your role
To support the work of the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal Guardianship Division through legal research and analysis of proposed changes to the law in relation to disability, aging and guardianship.
The Guardianship Division determines applications about adults who are said to be incapable of making decisions about their personal and/or financial affairs.
You will work closely with the Deputy President of the Guardianship Division, have excellent legal research skills, an ability to edit legal documents, and a genuine interest in law reform.
What we’re looking for
Effective communication and analytical skills are essential in this role as you will be required to analyse factual and legal complex matters to provide accurate advice and convey complex concepts of law, policy, and practice.

- Admission or eligibility for admission to the legal profession under the Legal Profession Uniform Law
