About Us
The NSW Reconstruction Authority (the RA) is a statutory corporation and an executive agency of the Premier’s Department. The RA’s remit is to improve how NSW plans for disasters and help communities to recover from them faster to reduce the severity and impacts of disasters. We do critical planning and preparedness in consultation with key community groups, businesses and local government so that when disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities, and other stakeholder groups.
Role Overview
As the Manager, HR Business Partner, you will lead a team to develop and implement effective HR strategies and solutions. Your role will focus on operational excellence in employee relations, workforce planning, organisation change management, employee engagement and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
The Manager, HR Business Partner leads the delivery and implementation of the P&C strategy and people programs that support our stakeholder groups deliver on the strategic imperatives of our agency. Critical to your success will be the ability to collaborate, build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You will need extensive technical skills and capabilities to establish yourself as a trusted partner. You will be providing comprehensive advice and identifying and providing recommendations to mitigate risks. As a seasoned HR professional your ability to manage complex matters, lead change and consultations and exercise sound judgement and discretion will be highly regarded. You’re a strong leader that can inspire and provide leadership, coach and support a small team to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in delivering HR solutions in a complex environment.
