Employment type – Temporary Full Time (12 months with possibility of extension)
Salary – $120,859.00- $133,183.00 PA, Plus Employers Contribution to Superannuation and Leave Loading
Your role
The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) is the lead agency under the Stronger Communities Cluster. What you’ll do
In 2024, DCJ established a program of work to progress the delivery of end-to-end Digitising Case File (DCF) for Courts and Tribunals. The DCF is a significant and complex business transformation initiative that will require sustained investment and effort over several years across all NSW Courts and Tribunals.
The Supreme Court Civil project is one of three within the DCF program of work for FY25. The program has prioritised the delivery of end-to-end digitisation of the Supreme Court (Civil) jurisdiction. As we approach the end of the discovery phase a delivery team is being formed for the development of forms and workspaces with integration to several inter-agency systems.
The Digital Customer Experience Team is looking for a and a Senior Technical Business Analyst for the DCF Supreme Court (Civil) project team.
Senior Technical Business Analyst
This role is responsible for converting user/business and process requirements into functional / non-functional requirements and/or technical specifications. The role will provide guidance and advice on capturing requirements from a technical perspective and will also develop artefacts for current / future state process flows and integration needs.
What we’re looking for
- Over 5 years’ experience and tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with complex government projects.
- Work with stakeholders including solution architects, product owners and other subject matter experts to document and provide relevant business solutions, ensuring proper communication of business requirements to IT solution requirements.
- Ability to assess the impact of legislation on business processes, systems and operations and apply complex legislation into actionable business requirements.
- A strong understanding of the nuances of delivering technical programs with varied and complex stakeholders, particularly where there are differing views on the value of introducing digital capabilities.
- The ability to understand technical language, and well versed in topics concerning digital solutions, architecture and system integration.
- Lead a team of Tech Business Analysts working across the different streams of the Digital Case File Program.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings and working groups with appropriate stakeholders,
- Development of documentation (business requirements, specifications, data flows and test plans).
- Create Interaction specification documents such as data mapping, sequence diagrams and other required artefacts
- Work along with the BA Team, Technical Stakeholders, Solution Architect, Project Teams and Program Team.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, complex integrations, Pega or similar technology.
