Employment Type - Ongoing Permanent – Full Time: Monday – Friday + Flex Time

Salary: $106,025 - $117,363 pa + Superannuation - Annual Leave Loading

 

Your role

 

As an LCM Coordinator, you will provide analytical, case management, secretariat, and administrative support to enable the operation of the LCM within your boundary.  This includes supporting and connecting members of the Multiagency Coordination Group and Practitioner Group, collecting, and analysing information to support LCM referrals, managing the LCM database and reporting on LCM operations.

 

What you’ll do

 

We are looking for a key driver who is prepared to maintain connections and commitment from all agencies involved in the Reducing adult re-offending program.

The Local Coordinated Multiagency offender management (LCM) program is one of several state-wide reforms introduced to contribute to State and Premier’s Priorities to reduce adult reoffending and reduce the proportion of domestic violence reoffenders.

LCM brings together several government agencies (Department of Communities and Justice, including Community Corrections, Housing and Child Protection; NSW Health and NSW Police) to jointly select and manage a small number of persistent reoffenders who are residing in the community. These agencies work together to arrange access to interventions to help reduce the individual’s risk of reoffending and improve community safety.

 

 

What we’re looking for

 

As our ideal candidate, you will have,

 

  • knowledge of the criminal justice system and the role of NSW Police and Community Corrections
  • Demonstrated experience providing secretariat support to high level groups.
  • Demonstrated experience in proactively identifying relevant resources to support offenders and implementing effective solutions when faced with challenged in organising service delivery for offenders.
  • Developed communication skills and highly motivated, with a keen eye for detail, and able to complete multiple competing tasks within deadlines. 
  • Develop strong relationships with partner agency representatives, local service providers and Community Corrections staff to facilitate effective information exchange and achieve case plan outcomes for offenders.
  • Provide secretariat support to the Practitioner Group and Multiagency Coordination Group meetings, including scheduling meetings and preparing meeting agendas and minutes, to support the local governance and operation of LCM.
  • Manage and maintain all records associated with LCM to ensure compliance with the requirements of the State Records Act 1998.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and quality assurance of LCM to support the continuous improvement of LCM and updates to state-wide practices.
