About Us

Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Justice sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.

 

 

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of recognised correctional administrative functions, including general administrative duties, daily delivery of goods across the centre, manual handling and lifting, procurement and inventory management, warehousing, records management, and the operation of mobile plant and equipment such as forklifts, tugs, and trailers. The position also involves direct, face to face interaction with offenders within a controlled environment.

 

As a highly motivated and results driven Assistant Centre Administration Support Officer, you will always maintain confidentiality, you require high attention to detail and accuracy, provision of excellent customer service, and the ability to work under pressure. You should have a positive “can do” attitude with the ability to work within a team environment.

Essential requirements

Current and valid driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW

Forklift Licence is required or be willing to obtain a licence.
