What you’ll do
The Assistant Centre Administration Officer (Stores) will need to undertake stores duties and support the day-to-day performance and productivity of the centre. Duties will include:
- Receiving & dispatching of supplies for the Correctional Centre
- Assist with general administration duties
- Answer phone calls and ensure the team and Centre is supported
- Answer and investigate enquiries via shared and personal inboxes
- Assist in warehouse operations and stock maintenance
- In this role there may be face to face contact with offenders under supervision in a controlled environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office and your technology skills is a plus
What we’re looking for
To be successful for this role, you will display integrity at all times, be a true team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will maintain confidentiality at all times whilst utilising your proven experience and knowledge to meet the demands of this role effectively. Resilience, initiative, high attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fast-paced role.
Essential Requirements
- Current and valid car driving licence and willingness to travel within NSW
- Have current forklift licence, or willingness to acquire a forklift license within 3 months of commencement of duty.
- Willingness to undertake forklift driving duties
